Panta Mer App

Let me proudly present an exciting group project from my Interaction Design course! Together with my team members, we worked intensively to create and improve an innovative mobile application called “PantApp.”

Project Background: Our task was to develop an application with a focus on interaction design. We were drawn to the idea of simplifying the handling of deposit receipts while creating opportunities for users to contribute to charities of their own choice and enjoy coupons and other benefits through a reward system.

Design Process:

  1. Idea Generating: We began with an intensive brainstorming session to find the best solution that would address users' needs and offer a meaningful experience.
  2. Wireframing: After clarifying our goals, we sketched detailed wireframes to visualize the app’s structure and user interface.
  3. Analog prototyping: To test user flows and interaction patterns, we first created analog prototypes, which provided valuable insights and user feedback.
  4. Digital Prototyping: With this feedback in mind, we moved on to creating digital prototypes in Figma giving users a more realistic sense of the app's functionality and user experience.
  5. Usability Testing: We conducted extensive usability testing to identify strengths and weaknesses in our design concept and develop a user-centered solution.
  6. Iterative Design: Based on user feedback and test results, we iterated on the design to create an optimal user experience.

App Functions:

  • Digital recycling-receipt: Receipt gathering and organizing made easy by going digital, which makes it easier for the user to see their positive impact on the environment.
  • Choose your charity: The user has the ability to pick the charity organozation that they want to support by donating the money received from recycling cans/bottles.
  • Points shop: Through PantApp, users are offered points that can be used in an exclusive points shop to unlock and redeem exciting offers and discounts.

Key Takeaways: Our Interaction Design project was an incredible journey where we combined creativity, user-centered design, and technical skills to create a meaningful and innovative mobile application. PantApp represents not only our ability to solve real-world problems through design but also our capacity to iterate and improve based on user feedback. I’m proud of the work we accomplished and look forward to continuing to explore and create meaningful user experiences in future projects.
